Sam Clinton- Reservoir Engineer

Sam Clinton manages the Houston, Texas, office of O'Brien Energy and is the company's chief specialist in Reservoir Engineering . As such, Sam's work is critical in establishing the company's reserves and their value in proven developed and proven undeveloped properties.  He works closely with banks and independent engineering firms in reviewing reserve amounts and their value as collateral, their value in acquisition and divestiture programs, and communicates his findings and analysis on an ongoing basis to O'Brien Energy's financial partners.

Sam's 40-plus year career in oil and gas includes positions as a Petroleum Engineer at Stanolind Oil & Gas Company and Crystal Oil Company, and as a consultant before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and the FPC in Washington, D.C.  He joined the O'Brien team after supervising the company's producing properties in Mississippi.

Sam Clinton holds a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University, and served two years as an officer in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. He is a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Texas.
