Dr. Patrick W. Peavy- Director, Executive Vice President & Co-Founder
Pat Peavy is a Director and co-founder, along with William J. O'Brien, III, of O'Brien Energy Company. After more than 20 years involvement in the oil and gas industry as an investor, he and O'Brien joined forces in 1997 to establish O'Brien Energy, creating the progressive, innovative, and dedicated exploration and production company O'Brien Energy is today. Pat has actively participated in the management of O'Brien Energy since its inception. In addition to his duties on the Board of Directors, Pat also serves on the company's Business Development Committee.
Prior to his involvement in the petroleum industry, Pat practiced medicine for more than 30 years, specializing in radiology. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Management from Georgia Tech University. He attained his Doctor of Medicine from Louisiana State University Medical School, and completed his residency in radiology at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta. Pat was also an officer and flight surgeon in the United States Navy, and formerly was an accomplished aerobatic pilot.
